Hi Ladies, The family are now cancelling her visa on 7th and leave Dubai on 11th so will not have time to do the transfer. Is there anything i need from the previous sponsor before they leave dubai and will i have a problem getting her on our visa? Thank you

Hi cakes If both sponsors and maid agree, it is very easy. Just go to immigration together, making sure you bring all the necessary papers and money (http://www.dnrd.ae/DNRD/Transactions/Residents/Residents%20Services). Don't worry about the prepaid ones, you can do them there at that time as well. After this your maid needs to redo her medical, and than you finish everything and the previous sponsor can get their deposit back. The whole process takes less than a week (immigration visit, medical, and than second immigration visit). We went to Jebel Ali port immigration (see my other post for directions) and it went very smooth, they were very helpful. As mentioned before, make sure your proof is salary is recent (less than two months old)! Good luck
