So I just got my first IPad2, since forever I've been a microsoft user! So, I am searching the features and trying to download few applications. Mybquestion is : there are thousands of free app. But they look useless ! I tried 2 books app, 2dora games for my kid, and sudoku. And I just deleted all before logging in here! They are useless! Please iPad users guide me to some useful free applications! And what is Microsoft office in iPad? I mean word,excel and PowerPoint what is their apple version!

iPad is not meant to be used as a word processor, so you will not find a Microsoft Office for Mac app. You can search for Documents to Go or QuickOffice, but they're not free. zinio is amazing. also ibooks, kindle for reading. dropbox allows you to create and share documents. the other main ones i use are bbc iplayer, channel 4....
