Its not a daft question, but yes you are safe, I have even camped on my own on the beach in Musandam. Just a little tip, there is a beautiful beach about 20 mins through the boarder it has a little playground and there are toilets! The main beach which is very pebbly attracts the boy racers at night that go backwards and forwards behind the tents.

A daft question perhaps (my DH certainly thinks so), but my imganiation runs a bit wild sometimes! DH and I are hoping to camp up in Musandam, but where exactly can you camp and is it safe to camp when not as part if a group?
