Am trying to use up my Airmiles - the ones you get from some stores, not Emirates miles - and there is nothing on the website of interest.
The airmilesme site mentions using miles to buy flight tickets but doesn't give the numbers required.
Anyone know approx how many miles to Colombo and/or London return in Y and/or C with Emirates?
Thanks.

PS I'd call them but they are closed until Sunday.

no - no set number of miles...they check the price of the flight and then apply some formula to come up with the number of miles....I just booked a peak time Xmas emirates flight and it was about 300,000 miles.

OK, so there is no standard number of miles per destination? I'll call them tomorrow. Thanks.

Hi, It completely depends on how full the flight is. One month ago I did fly with Emirates to Dusseldorf, return fligth was 230,000 airmiles. In January we are flying to Capetown, also with Emirates and per ticket it costed us 330,000 airmiles. You don't have to fly with Emirates, it could be that other airlines will cost less miles. Just wait till Sunday and they can help you. My experience, is once you have them on the phone, they are really helpfull.
