Yep I have been using Pure Blue for about 3 years and definitely can tell the difference. My hair feels stronger and silkier and my colour lasts longer using it. The filters used to be only 100 AED, but about 6 month ago or so they have increased them to 150 AED and I have found that is the price everywhere so it must be Pure Blue them selves who have increased. Some salons sell them, and most pharmacies do too.

I have been buying shower filters and its cartridges from Souq.com (link below) at a price of AED 99/- I have also recommended this to my friends and we all are very happy with this product: http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/purify-your-shower-water-from-any-form-of-impurities-using-the-shower-filters-multi-layer-filter-and-giving-you-chlorine-free-showers-for-healthier-hair-skin-and-wellbeing-purifies-water-providing-you-with-healthy-showers-removes-impurities-95-of-5230145/i/

I've been meaning to ask on here about the water filters actually, I just got the blu one but I noticed there's dried yellowly water stains on the shower head, do you think I havnt installed it properly or it's not working or is this just normal? I have never seen this and I have had my Blu filter for 3 years

I know it's a late reply but I would suggest not to buy the Forbes shower filter. It pops out constantly if you increase the water pressure. Was about to fall on poor husband's head!!! And I'm in the process of exchanging it for a credit note at Lulu Barsha....

My only complaint with the water filter is that now I get extremes in water temperature. The shower either runs really cold or really hot.

I've got a Pureblue one. I got it at the Ranches pharmacy but can't remember how much it cost. Love it. My skin and hair are much softer and less dry.

We're using the ones from Better Life. Available at MOE for Dhs100. The Eureka Forbes man who fitted the Aquaguard tried to sell me the Swiss ones they carry for Dhs450...passed. Too early to know whether they are helping...

Yeah we have the blu one - ours is the shower head because the other day I saw a Cobone offer or similar which was Blu but looked like some kind of filter cylinder attachment. I love it, my hair feels in much better condition since I have started using it and a friend who had suffered from hair thinning has noticed a lot of new hair growth since using hers a few months ago. Not sure whether the improvement is due to the filter or the vitamin cartridge or both but it's great. My mum and sister visited and loved using it too and each bought one to take back to the UK - although there is probably less need for it there as the water is better. I think they just liked the lemony smell! And there is loads of gunk in the filter when we wash it out which makes me feel happy that it isn't going onto my head!
