Hi,

My family will be moving to Sports City in September. Can you tell me if there is a mall in Sports city? If not which one is the nearest one?
Is the area child friendly? What is the traffic like getting in and out of there during peak hours?

Any other feedback would be appreciated!

Thank you very much for always being so helpful here ?

Lost as ever

We live in Motor city which is next to Sport City and usually drive to Mirdif City Center. Though it's farther than Mall of Emirates, getting there and parking is faster and easier. Usually takes us max.20 min. This area is not very busy in terms of traffic.

City center Mall currently being built at IMPZ next to Sports City due to be completed third quarter of this year but don't hold your breath that it'll be ready on time see link http://www.majidalfuttaim.com/en/media/get/20140303_tecom-maf-press-release-english.pdf I'd say the nearest mall is Ibn Battuta Mall. The Mall of the Emirates is also easy to get to and accessible by bus. Plenty of shops at Motor City including a massive Spinneys but no mall as such more like a promenade of shops and cafes and food outlets.
