Dr. Mathias has extensive clinical experience as a Specialist General Surgeon
After gaining experience in the various fields of general surgery, Dr. Mathias passed the fellowship examination of the Royal Colleges of Surgeon of Edinburgh & Glasgow in 1992. He obtained expertise in minimally invasive surgery very early and has since accumulated extensive experience in all aspects of diagnostic & therapeutic Laparoscopic surgery & Endoscopy.
Over five years he has concentrated on and achieved super-specialization in Liver and Gastro-Intestinal surgery. Dr. Mathias is a member of the International Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association and has presented and published many papers mainly in this field.
