Applications for the 3-month 'Beautiful Destinations Academy' ends in April.

Aimed at helping content creators deliver more high-quality content encouraging visits to the emirate, the 'Beautiful Destinations Academy' will provide students with invaluable knowledge on cinematography skills, the local tourism sector, marketing principles, professional ethics, and hands-on mentorship from top creative and professional experts in the industry.
Established by Beautiful Destinations and Visit Dubai, the initiative is part of an ongoing scheme to bring more influencers to the region, alongside the rollout of a 10-year influencer UAE Golden Visa category and AED 150 million in support funds from the government for content creators.

The travel influencer academy in Dubai hopes to bring "‘structure, credibility and accountability to a previously informal field of work".
According to Beautiful Destinations Academy, around 76% of travel decisions are influenced by what users see on social media.
What's included in the curriculum?
The Dubai travel influencer academy classes will run for three months and are aimed towards building skills in marketing, knowledge of the travel industry, and cinematography.
According to the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, students enrolled in the 12-week academy program can expect the following:
- Fast-paced, hands-on, and deeply immersive experience—from day one, creators will be capturing, editing, and shaping visual stories that bring destinations to life.
- Learn to refine aesthetic, master storytelling techniques, and build a portfolio of world-class content.
- Creators will be equipped with the skills to navigate the business of content creation—understanding the travel industry, working with brands, and building a sustainable creative career.
- Experiences designed in collaboration with the Dubai College of Tourism, integrating fundamental industry knowledge with hands-on practice.
- Scheduled workshops, field shoots, and mentorship sessions, requiring full dedication throughout the 12-week period.
- Learners can receive hands-on training and mentorship from industry creatives and experts.
All students will receive an income for the 12-week program, with all expenses (including flights and accommodation) fully covered by Beautiful Destinations.
What do graduates of the Dubai travel influencer academy receive upon completion?
Graduating students will receive a certificate of participation from the Dubai College of Tourism.
