I have 3 rather thick rugs that I need to have trimmed down to fit in specific spots. Any recommendation of a shop that could do this? I went by 2 tailors yesterday but they both said the carpets are too thick for their equipment.

Any suggestions appreciated (other than buying shorter rugs)! ;)

You could try asking somewhere like carpetland or rugland. If they are not able to do it, they might have a suggestion.
