Hi, Yes I know also all about it! It s a drama. A litle honey or something sweet you will find a whole army of very very litle ants here. And next to our balcony and living the bigger ants. I tried to follow where they all came from. And tried all kinds of things. WHat eventually helped for me was. - contineud cleaning everything buth that won t help. - Bought very tied closed big boxes for my kitchen. And i puth there everything closed. Like herbs, pasta, Sugar everything i have is in a closed container. - All the closed in the kitchen i cleaned them again allot with everyhing. and vinegar. Salt didn t help. I then saw a patern of the ants. I cleaned everything out and started to kit everyt corner etc.. of all closseds. - I went on the balcony and cleaned everything again and then i started to kit everything outside the balcony and also inside. - And i did use powder against the ants. I must say now i don t have them annymore. Somethimes i see one or two. Now I Always have kit in the house. Just kit everything you see that looks like they can go true. ANd believe me it can be sooooo small. Good luck and i really feell for you. We don t have children buth there was a time that my husband came from work and saw me spraying all the time the ants. I looked crazy whaha

I had ants on the 5th floor last year and tried everything to keep them out. Even with a perfectly clean kitchen they kept coming back. What did the trick for me in the end was cleaning walls, counters etc of kitchen and entry ways with vinigar, and leaving the coffee grinds from my morning brew in the sink for the day. I did this every day for about 2 weeks and they stayed away. I also left baking powder trails under the sink, fridge, and dish washer just incase a cockroach decided to invade my house.

Run a thick trail of sugar away from house along side fence to back fence, keep it topped up. I witnessed a very traumatic situation with ant powder and a small kitten here years ago, please don't use it gingercat given you have small children and a cat.

They really hurt as well don't they! Very painful bites from such small things and they also seem quite aggressive. We tried everything... Flour (supposed to bung them up)...did nothing. Blocking holes they come in from...they made more Traps...killed a few but there were lots of them Cleaning the house all the time...no chance with kids. The only thing that worked for us was exterminators (I think we used Rentokil but DD sorted it) and they apparently "heated" the house. I must admit we were away when it was done but it lasted a good three months before they started coming back. We're going to have it done again soon.

Hi Ladies. We moved to a small bungalow in al Barsha last August after living in an apartment for many years. We love it here but are struggling with ants. The only thing suggested to me from the man in Ace hardware was a powder which is toxic to children and pets. I have a four year old, a newborn and a cat so am not willing to use anything like that. Any have any suggestions? Something less toxic that actually works? If we leave the smallest amount of crumbs on the floor we have a swarm in no time. They seem to just come in under our front and balcony door. Would love to hear any suggestions! They are driving me crazy and my daughter and I have already been bitten!
