Am planning to get a bike to ride around the neighbourhood. Saw some folding bikes which seem great for easy storage in our 2 bed apartment, but want to know if anyone has used these and are they good? Also, can you attach a baby seat on the front of these?

Any suggestions are welcome. TIA.

ST we got some very good quality bikes last year on Dubizzle and it was the best thing we ever did. bit disappinting here that a lot of the parks dont allow bikes but we're in the springs which is perfect. have a look on dubizzle you should get a good deal!

I agree with marycatherine. I just bought a bike last week but will only use them in the park. I'm too chicken to use them in the road.

I don't know about the type of bicycle, but I'd be extremely cautious (in that I wouldn't under any circumstances) put a baby on the cycle with me. Cyclists here are not respected in any way, shape or form, and having a baby strapped on the front won't gain any courtesies.
