I checked Carrefour and found none. Also, is there any peanut butter powder available here? TIA! :)

You can buy ground almonds, the same as almond flour basically, from Carrefour, but its n the spice and nut section where they weigh it up for you and bag it...not pre processed. You can also get almond meal n the Indian grocery shops. There's a chain of them, I can't recall the name of it but they sell every kind of flour you can imagine for Indian cooking and they have the fine stuff. I will see if I can find the name and post it

I checked Carrefour and found none. Also, is there any [b'>peanut butter powder[/b'> available here? TIA! :) When you grind peanuts, you get powder (flour). Continue grinding the flour and you get butter. You can't go from from butter to powder. Oops, sorry I meant powdered peanut butter or PB2. The ones you mix in your shake for post workout meal or for breakfast.

I make my own by throwing two cups of raw almonds in the food processor with the knife blade attachment. Let it go for a couple minutes, being careful not to let the food processor overheat. Don't grind it for more than 5 minutes or it will start to emulsify and turn into almond butter. The same can be done with peanuts.

Almond flour is the same as ground almond. Almond is never as fine as regular flour but coarser, like breadcrumbs. Since I bake a lot I bought them regularly from the nut counter at Carrefour. One of the bins in the almond section will be filled with ground almond. If it's not fine enough for your purpose, just tip the ground almond to the food processor and whizz till it's even finer.
