Hi - looking at Dexol to fix transmission on my Ford Explorer. Wondered if anyone had used them and if so what their experience was.

Thanks for any comments.

Dexol have an excellent reputation, and let's face it, the only alternative is to pay tens of thousands of dirhams to the dealership. Not too difficult to find either. You basically go across the Maktoum Bridge, through the underpass beneath the clock tower (take the lane signposted "Corniche") and keep going straight along Umm Hurair Road. You will go across the junction with Al Muraqqabat Road on your left, and have the Al Kabayal Discount Centre on your right. Take the small right turn at the far end of the Discount Centre, and Dexol will be on your right after about a hundred yards or so. Just go to Google Maps and enter co-ordinates 25°16'2.43"N 55°19'55.24"E. The green arrow will be directly over Dexol. edited by Madge_Gustard on 30/01/2014

Great experience they fixed our old Durango .... Only did what was needed, very honest - they did a good job for us, would use them again (fingers crossed we won't have to!)

Hi yes I did a few years ago. From memory they were fine. But difficult to find.
