Arabic Illustrations suitable for framing
This is a bit obscure, but maybe someone has seen something in their travels. Before we moved here, my children's grandfather gave them a beautiful edition of Arabian Nights, complete with detailed arabic illustrations.
I am now looking for similar illustrations to put in large Ikea frames in their bedroom as the stories in the Arabian Nights have really captured their imagination. I'm thinking maybe 4 or 6 pictures per frame.
I've been looking in bookshops for children's books of Arabian fairytales or even the Arabian Nights stories again and found nothing in any of the malls that is suitable for cutting and framing. There [i]have [/i]been books, but they have been very baby-ish and not traditional looking arabic pictures.
So I thought I'd ask on here if anyone has seen any detailed drawings / postcards / anything really that might fit the theme or any suggestions on where I might find something like this?
