I remember reading on her quite a while back there was a beach in Jebel Ali where you could take your dogs?

Anyone have a clue where that may be?

We take ours up to Um Al Quwain. If you head out to UAQ via emirates road and follow the signs to the centre, then head out right towards the beach road, there is a large, very quiet beach with shallow waters - just drive across a good sand road onto the beach front (past some half built enourmous villas) and park up, then you can walk along the front with the dogs happily playing in the water.
