For people who have had children in schools in the UK and Dubai, is the behaviour of children at home bettter, worse or the same here ? I'm interested as I feel its worse here.

Having worked in a couple of secondary schools in Dubai, I can say that it depends entirely on the school. The "profit-making" school where I worked had more behavioural problems than the "not-for-profit" school." I put it down to fact that the former is growing at an exponential rate, there is a high turnover of staff and the school is still trying to work out who it is. Yes, I agree with this and that has been my experience too. Further to this I've found the higher the fees the worse the behaviour! Sad but true! Thanks for your replies :)

I have to agree with Ms Cobb. It depends on the school and also within the same schools often there are behaviour problems with certain year groups only.
