Does anyone have any feedback please? Considering putting my youngest there and would appreciate some input.

Note: Put this in Nursery section two days ago and not a single reply so please don't move it there just yet?

Thanks in advance

Hi Pamya, there is a small outdoor play area and they also have spray/water activities there. The kids get their swimsuits on and have a ball! Yes it is small, but their indoor one is quite large, and with the heat in Dubai this is a bonus! edited by SuzyDuzy on 23/08/2011

hi xmasbaby, my children have been going to building blocks since they opened in january. We are happy with the nursery. Checks all the boxes you look for as a parent. both my LO's came home happy. other than the curriculum activities are as SuzyDuzy mentioned. But more than that its the difference you see in the lo's. they have come out leaps and bounds with communication, confidence and putting things back in its place. guiness - the fees start at building blocks is 10,000 per term. i had been to Polo club in January and you cannot compare the two nurseries. Polo club has two rooms where as building blocks is a facility. it boils down to what is a good fit for you. Each nursery is going to have pros and cons. To answer your question as a parent I am a happy mom with building blocks.

Ho Xmas baby - my DS (3 yrs) went there from Apr-Jun. We really loved it. He and DD are also attending Summer Camp there as well. I think they do a really professional job. My DS did the following: singing, dancing, painting, nursery rhymes, reading, painting, hand crafts, water play, gymnastics/sports. Basically, the whole kit and kaboodle! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to you. I think they have waiting lists though so get your name on fast! We only left because he is going into FS1 in Gems DSO - but BB also offers FS1....

My daughter will be going to Jebel Ali at the Polo Club. There is also Seashells in Barsha, which is meant to be great. Apparently, a new nursery is opening in Sports City this term, although I can't find the name.

Thanks ladies... Jules, interested in the type of activities they do (ie. songs, arts/crafts etc), feedback to parents on what their doing etc, 8:00 - 12:30 a few days a week, for example. Guinness, any other suggestions of nearby nurseries?

It is really expensive compared to other nurseries in the area - I think 12k per term as opposed to 8k per term in the Polo Club for example. When I asked why, the manager shrugged her shoulders and said, "Because we can!"
