We did a lot of checking on wardrobes as in getting them custom made versus buying off the shelf. We had them made for one villa from a carpenter in Al Quoz and the quality was awful. We also tried getting a quote from a company I think was called Creative Closets but the cost was huge. I mean like over 20k. So IKEA is the best bet as value for money versus quality you can't beat them. We had some integrated so a company took out the old built in wardrobes, then IKEA fitted theirs and then the contractor I hired did the "built in" bit by making a gypsum wall around the wardrobes so they appeared in the wall so to speak. Looked great and was the most cost effective option. Can't remember costs as it was 4 years ago now but the whole job was less than 8k for our master bedroom.

LOL! Dragonmart is one of those places where you have to go on a "mission". Get in fast and out fast! I went and bought wooden flooring last week - in and out in 20 minutes! Otherwise it drives you MAAAAAD! Best time is 10am when it just opens.... I know how you feel :)

Maybe mine was slightly more expensive than I quoted then?? I honestly cant remember clearly. However, for the fit, design, fitting etc I really thought it was v good value for money. It really changed the look of my room and clothes are much better organised now. I think the best option is to measure the space and then head down to IKEA and let them cost it up for you. Good luck. If you dont see what you fancy, Dragonmart could potentially be an option?

Ayzzy - I actually cant remember and of course it depends on the configuration and accessories you choose. I think it was 3-4k. If you have a look at the IKEA catalogue online you can probably get an approximate idea if you know home many doors you will go for etc...

Thanks; if you don't mind me asking, how much did this cost you?

I looked around for this a while ago and ended up going for the IKEA option. I got a full wall with built in wardrobes - dark wood, one full mirror door, some shelves, hanging rails, wide drawers etc. You can really configure it any way you like. I now have 8 doors of wardrobe space and lots of shoe racks! Highly recommend IKEA. They were very helpful in the design and very quick in the fitting Worth checking out
