Is it possible to watch dolphins in both areas ?

Can you drive from Khasab to Dibba easily ? Is the Khasab area more scenically beautiful than the Dibba cost ?

Thanks

The border will be very busy on Eid, you will need to go very early, we went last Eid and it was very busy. Dolphin watching for sure khasab and its 100 % you will see them as they are in the bay's Musandam / dibba you wont see them as its further out and the dhows arnt allowed to come in close. its other the other side.

No Dolphins in Dibba! I am there almost every week the whole year around...saw them ones from miles away! You can try Extra Divers dive centre in Khassab for stay.

Thank you ladies, I guess that is why Khasab hotel is full and Dibba is not for EID ! Is it doable to stay in RAK and drive to Khasab for the day ? is it the Khasab border crossing which can be really long ? have promised the kids a dolphin trip,

We went on a day trip to Khasab last year and took a full day trip on a dhow. We almost had the dhow to ourselves and we had a fantastic day, we went on a Friday so it was quieter. We saw lots of dolphins, they come and swim alongside the boats if you clap them. Never been to Dibba so can't say.

We have been to both and although we enjoyed both, I would go to Khasab over Dibba. I think the coast near Khasab is more dramatic. We were told we would see dolphins on our dhow cruise at both.....but I've heard at Khasab they are pretty sure (which they were and we saw them most of the dhow cruise right by the boat for most of the trip) whereas at Dibba we never saw anything. We personally think trip to Khasab is more beautiful.
