I have planted some seeds which were supposed to be Cosmos but what came out is nothing like that. It is a very strong climbing plant that looks like this..Anyone knows what could it be ?

I think the plant is very attractive. I am in the process of starting a new garden and need hardy plants that grow well here. Has anyone seen this plant for sale here in Dubai? Thank you in advance. Hi ice7..i haven't seen this plant in any of the markets..i might have some seeds left .will check and let you know..This plant is from the same family as morning glory and moon flower which are hallucinogenic and i believe illegal here. This plant is not so bad but still toxic so careful if you have pets or small children.

I bought them in Houston, actually :) . There was a target on the same road as the Galeria , maybe 10 minutes drive from it. Can't remember the area but there was also a Walmart and some other nice shops around. Loved it!!! I am not american I just go there for work quite often. And i love Target too! :) Wish they'd open up one here .

I think I just found out what the plant is.. It looks like Ipomoea x multifida (Cardinal climber)...I bought the seeds from Target in the US and so far 4 of the packets have had the wrong seeds inside..I hope none of them are poppy or some other blacklisted stuff . nope no flowers but it does get wide leaves that are nice .. I have another vine that has yellow flowers and it grows really fast. My Jasmin is a slow grower ... all nurseries have this yellow flower one though.
