I was just going trough DEWA website and there is an option for payment trough Etisalat machines in the mall. I was wondering how this works and if it works at all. Have anyone tried it?

emirates NBD, i have an account and it debits from that. i am sure other bank atm's would offer this? i never noticed it for two years until someone told me to press the 'other services' button - then there's a whole lot of joy and good options regarding bill payment! Thanks :) I'll check mine too. If it works will be great. Came to think about it, I have never look properly at the options on the ATM that I don't use :) Well, I guess I'll look now :)

or you can do it through a lot of atm's - i do it through the emirates one. This is NBD right? Do you need to have account there or you can use card from any bank?

Thanks ladies :) Cabbage, this is great for me as like you I don't have credit card any more :) I used to pay online, but now I canceled the card as too much fee for this or that...... and now the system is not accepting the debit one :( I've seen one machine in Dubai mall. I'll try that one :) Thanks again

I do this every month at the one near Home Centre at MOE. you key in your account number, it tells you how much it is, you insert the cash (never tried with a card), and its paid and you get your print out. Be warned though, it doesn't give change! Ours is usually about 450 a month (3 bed shoreline) so we stick 500 in anyway to get into a bit of credit and eventually it builds up so the other month I had a bill of 27 dhs! Much much easier than going to DEWA, cos we can't pay online as we have no credit cards.
