Hello Dallukhan, I will be in the same situation in October - delivering in Latifa and trying to claim the insurance. How did it go and what was your overall experience in Latifa? Thank you

Sorry, bumping this to the main forum cause no one replied on the other one ? Hello Girls, First post here, but still gonna try and keep it simple. Now 35 weeks. DS no.3 diagnosed with left-sided CDH, recommended to deliver at Latifa Hospital. Now all registered and due around last week of June. Obviously Latifa doesn't come under the network on DH's insurance policy so it will be a pay and claim process. Just wanted to know if anyone's recently had any major treatment at Latifa or any other DHA hospital and successfully claimed insurance? We'll pay 5% less if we get the treatment pre-approved, but as far as my experience has been to date I'm not even sure they can do cost estimates. In any case, the actual duration of stay can only really be determined once DS is born. We are all on DH's company provided Oman Insurance policy. We're both not really concerned about the quality of care, as even the best doctors at the biggest private hospitals have recommended Latifa as being the epitome of maternity care in the whole region. Its just the red-tape that can get a little frustrating at times :)
