Hi everyone I did Al Furjan snagging yesterday! You will be so pleasantly surprised. My husband does this as part of his job and we brought a big checklist with us, measuring tools etc. Needed nothing! The standard of finishing was the best I have seen in Dubai. We had 2 chipped floor tiles in maids bathroom which will be replaced. That was it! Everything else was immaculate and the house had also been cleaned ac and electricity on so you could get a really proper look. After waiting so long for the house to be finished it was a relief that Arabtec had done such a good job. So dont stress about getting a company to do snagging for you, any little jobs should be v minor. Congratulations on your new house!

suegord.... is it an apartment or a house? Apartments are much easier and you could DIY the snag list with a good reference guide, but a house would need someone who can spot external defects and can read the drawings and specifications in accordance with what has been agreed in your contract, and actually built on site.

do you have any architect or engineering friends who could walk it with you? Snagging is quite easy if you have a checklist and digital camera. The developer will have a snag list given to them by the investors architects too so they will not get paid until those snags are done, but much safer if you do yours as well. I can make up a check list guide for you and Ill post it here if you cant find anyone.
