Hi can you advise rough costs & timings to send Xmas cards back to the uk. I know a lot of expats get people to take back & post in the uk, but would be nice for close family to see the UAE stamps on makes it a bit more exciting!
Thanks

From my experience anything from 3 days to 14 days. Only once has something gone missing.

Do you know the time length it takes to get there at these rates?

The earlier you get stamps the better, they run out of 25 and 50 fil stamps quickly so you end up paying AED 5 instead of AED 4.50 to send a card. I know 50 fils isn't much but when you are sending a lot of cards it soon adds up. I have bought some sheets of 25 fil stamps just in case - just got to find where I put them. edited by MirdifIngrid on 15/11/2011

I sent a birthday card to Belfast last week and it cost 4dhs 50 fils With regards to postage dates i would probably send them all at the beginning of December to be safe :-)
