Just wanna check if any of you have visas processed with creative zone these days and what is your experience like. For us, they keep extending their own deadlines, breaking their promises and blaming it on newly invented reasons or even better, blaming it on us!! Like they have not received whatever... of course, since you never asked for it.... we have a visa with them for almost 3 months now, ridiculous. Not sure what to do as we need 3 more visas, anyone else feels they lost interest in helping us, wonder if they are closing down??? Just a feeling, do not want to spread rumours, but their attitude really have changed, no response on phone calls, blaming, etc. I was happy at the beginning, everything was ok but now it is a different story. I wonder if we should invest in changing the registration to elsewhere before forking out their high fees.

Yes the rule for attested degrees has always here, but when I first signed papers here for the licence I was told the owner does not need attested degrees and the visa can be processed without that. Now its changed. My degrees were attested 8 years back, one small little stamp has fallen off it(dunno how it happned). Now the Minitsry of foreign affairs is not stamping it...I will try again...I hope they help me.Its a geniune case... ehhh :( :( what's next? they will want you to re-take your exams too? re-start university? I have been told that now even the owner of the company needs the degree attested by the minstry of foreign affairs UAE.This rule came in recently and I am upset that we were not informed on time. Now I need time to get that attestation...my visa is expired and I will overstay and pay fine...I don't know who to blame for this.If the rules were to be changed they should have given ppl a time frame before it is was implemented.Getting the attestations from home country takes one month....add a month to the regular resident visa while it shouldnt take more than 10 days.... I am not happy with the visa part of the free zones

Thanks for the responses. Fujeirah Immigration may be difficult, but that still does not explain why Creative City whom I am paying for PRO services is rude with me and blaming me for their delay? They straight told me that if I do not like it, I can terminate my company license with them. It is disgusting really. Moo, thanks for your email. Mum 786: get your visit visa extended asap!

I am just interested in knowing the time frame to get a resident visa with Creative Zone.My current visa expired 3 days ago and according to their timelines, it takes 28 days to get the resident visa stamped even if I pay the Urgent fees.I don't know why it takes so long.I am just a little worried if this all takes more time and due to delays I may end up paying a fine for each day that I overstay...can someone please guide??

DH is currently going through the same ordeal with Virtuzone. New rules seem to pop out at the last minute with additional certifications and stamping needed for our visa which he had been told initially were not necessary... I don't know what's going on with Fujairah's immigration but things are far from going as smooth as we expected...

We had a similar experience with another FTZ. Setting up the business license was straightforward but getting Visa's was a NIGHTMARE. One steady stream of mis-communications, mis-understandings and mis-information. Forms being re-done, re-stamped and re-sumbitted. Questions un-known, un-answered and un-reliable edited by amandamusic on 28/09/2011

Thanks for posting this I was considering them as an option but may just re-think it now.... I do know a couple of friend who have used CZ and have said the setting up licensing was easy and quick but one doesn't need a visa and another has said the visa is taking ages...

Dentro...Our story is the same. My fiance's company applied his visa in July. They kept stating its under process. They were not giving any reason for the delay. Just last week, my Fiance lost his paitence and asked his company to stop the process. It been 4 months since he is jobless and we had our hopes on this visa. Hope things get better for you.

Hi dentro I'm assuming that you are referring to the Fujairah Creative City Free Zone? If so, are you dealing with the Agent in JBR? Not wanting to pass comment until I know who you're dealing with but I may be able to help.
