Absolutely ridiculous! If her child was already sat in the trolly, I'd have asked if she had some sort of disability that prevented her from using her owns hands and arms to put her own bags in! Shame she had the power of speech really. SydGal, NO! If there's no packer available, do it your flippin' self! I hate people like that, they wind me up sooooo much! hear hear!!!!!!

mmmmmmmmmm supermarket employs packer. customer pays supermarket. is customer therefore not entitled to services of packer, cos she's paying for it. No? customer pays for goods - supermarket offers packing as a complimentary service when there are staff available. when there are no packers the till operator usually packs for me until i've emptied my trolley and then i take over..

Come on the checkout girl was after packing her bags all she had to do was put a few bags in the trolley which woud have taken a minute out of her life... This was just someone ona power trip
