Does anyone have either a good maid that they would let do some part-time work or a part-time maid looking for further jobs? We live on Alma and until 2 weeks ago sponsored a Philippine who turned out to be a bad one!! their and liar - great !! anyone i need some hope with 3 kids and busy life - not sure i want someone in the house full time again and to commit to someone with visa etc but if you can recommend a quick thorough lady who could potentially also do some babysitting then please contact me -........

You don't want to commit and pay the visa costs but you expect someone else to?
Other than the fact that doing this is illegal (as mentioned numerous times on this forum as well as in the papers etc,) and hiring "part time" maids can incur fines up to 100'000 not only for you but the sponsor and the maid goes to jail, its pretty unfair to think its OK for you to hire someone else's maid that they've paid for yet you won't do so yourself. Sounds harsh but if you hire someone's maid who is canvassing work without their sponsors knowledge you can cause some serious problems for people and their families.
If you don't want to commit to paying the visa costs etc, then use an agency, if you don't want to do that then pay the visa costs and do it properly.
