nadadanada - Can you let me have the number for 'Jim will fit it', many thanks. 04 3402338 / 800349 The lads did checked first to make sure it was the compressor and not capacitor , took about 2 hours. Also they're all Filipinas and in my book do a much better job. Atleast they all speak and understand English!

Sadly yes it does :( I can confirm :( Sorry... But make sure that someone else checks it first as it might be unnecessary. I had the same problem and fortunately a colleague checked it and it turned out that this is not the problem, so we saved 2000 that time :) later did that anyway, but only after a year. So be sure that this is the problem as here they like to change everything :/ Cheers and good luck

The other Brit 'Jim' is doing ours. Warranty for 6 months and they've come today to find out which compressor and are buying it this afternoon, to install tomorrow. 2,500 Dhs incl compressor and labour. And yes our LL is paying for it. <em>edited by Chocs01 on 10/07/2011</em>

Speed Queen - Who are you getting a quote from and do they guarantee the compressor for a year? I have been quoted 2000 to replace ours (which will need doing soon) and they say they cannot guarantee the compressor for any length of time. Many thanks.
