We think it's out the back at the J, L and M end. Keep forgetting to walk round there and look.

Metro takes me 7 mins if I am not wearing silly shoes. Has anyone stuck their head round the back to look at Spinny's yet?

Hi ladies This is a great thread with lots of useful info. I viewed a nice 3 bed apt in tower F the other day. But dh thought it looked a bit far from the metro. How many of you have walked so far? How long does it take? Pls be honest! Also, are there plans to open a nursery in the area? And any idea when Spinneys is due to open? Sorry if these questions have already been answered... things seem to change so fast I thought I would post them. Cheers, KB

My DS sais Tower L is tower 2 which means nothing to me or which way it faces! The paving they have done looks good, I look over the side from the podium level. They must be busy beavers.......

Thanks girls, it's looking like a possibility!!! Just waiting for the deal to be done on rent which I'm letting my DH deal with..... Love the finishings in the villas and it'll be a great space for our family.. Hopefully I won't have to speak in rhyme all the time (Miss B) and we'll feel at home there. Looking forward to perhaps meeting with you all! eheheheeheh absolutely! Call Riad (tel 0504400162) i am certain that 1 villa is still available

The one we wanted has fallen through so we're on the look out for another one.... Do you know if there are any available other than the one on Dubizzle that has a concrete wall about 5 metres from the living space?!!

Also when looking for villas, we came across an investment fund which owned many of the villas. I do not recall the name of the fund, but found them to be rather realistic and easy to deal with. The contact was a friendly manager called Riad (tel 0504400162) edited by Kasia on 14/05/2011

Does anybody live in the villas down there? We are looking at the 4 bedroom ones and to be honest, they are lovely. Anything I ought to know??? Thanks janesul, I live in a villa but not one of the podium villas. Most people aren't aware that the podium villas are not the only villas here. The podium villas are the stand alone ones. There are also apartment/garden villas which are at the base (level 1) of the towers. I am in a villa at the base of tower M. The apartment/garden villas are substantially bigger than the podium villas, although still only 4 bedrooms. They have almost identical layout to the podium villas just each room is on a much larger scale. They also have smaller versions of the podium villas (don't know what they are called though) in the base level (level 1) of the towers. The villa nextdoor to us is only a 3 bedroom and quite a bit smaller than ours. We were not aware of all of these differences when we were being shown through by the various dodgy estate agents. They obviously hadn't seen any or didn't know what they were talking about and its now only having lived here that we know what is around. HTH BM, have you not been over yet? Come anytime you know that :)

@ Nessa72 We had all our balcony windows fixed from IDAMA, so that if we by accident close the window from the outside, the window won't close to the end and we can still get in... unless your husband locks you out by mistake, takes the kids to bed and falls asleep with them...... and you are stuck for 20 mins :)

The balcony makers so smart if you shut door and you are on balcony you are locked out! Nimonemo there are two pools open and they are working (still/maybe/unsure) on the two gyms. Have a look at dubizzle for an idea on prices.

I read with interest the most recent posts here (there are so many pages!) but I have not found any about rental prices. I am looking for a two bedroom flat. Could you tell me how much is it, please? Also, do these towers have gym, pool, sauna and steam room? Thanks very much!

Hi everyone - been following your posts and taking on board all the valuable information you ladies are sharing about the Executive Towers. My husband and I are planning the move out to Dubai for Septembouer and the location for the towers seems great for both my work and also nurseries in the umm seuqim / Jumeirah area. I was wondering though for those of you with toddlers, is how do you ensure their safety with balconies? do you just never open the doors - or is there anything you can put between the rail and next floors that could stop a 2.5 year old climbing up? This is such a big worry as we've a climber and I know he won't be able to resist - so how do you toddler proof your balconies???? Thanks in advance....Sydney
