Hi ladies, I think they closed the roads leading to Downtown Dubai Mall vicinity without passing the Salik toll gate. Damn. Anyone know of an alternative road, perhaps through Al Khail road to avoid using SZR? And I saw some cars going towards back of Millenium Tower but am not sure if it leads to anywhere. TIA...

Our spaces are mentioned in our contract. I don't understand how this can happen. In my old building people just parked in their own spaces. I've never had this problem every single day. The odd time, someone would park in your space but a quick note would fix it. But to rip down notes and throw them on the ground?...grrrr!

I live in Tower C and for the past couple of months there has been a notice next to the elevators telling tenants to take their car details etc to the security guard (groind floor car park tower entrance) and he will tell you which are your allocated spot(s). Seems that many are either not doing this or shouldn;t be parking there. The guard told me that tenants from other towers use tower C spots if they can't park in their own. I have signs on the pillars (removed more than once by someone) and have also slipped notes under windscreen wipers. Several times on the same cars! All tenants have at least one allocated spot so it is inconsiderate to use someone else's. If I can't use mine then I have to block someone else's! Its a vicious circle and one of the worst problmes in living in an apartment block.

I received an email stating that as the boom gates were in use you needed a parking sticker to enter, then they were going to identify cars without stickers and remove them. At this time it is you can park anywhere until they issue device to open gate ourselves ( yes great story! as most of cars in carpark have no sticker which annoys me as they inforce the no ball playing "law" but not parking entry). I was told my spots when I moved in last year you should be able to find out at the sales centre. Yes heard the other week champions was open the first shop!!

We have NEVER been able to park in our spots. It used to bug me but there's nothing I can do about it now. Have even tried notes etc nothing works. I don't know how they're ever going to fix the problem

Someone in our tower sips notes under windscreen wipers that says, 'this is a designated spot' or some such. Only took a week or so and now i think people leave them free. SB about not having a sticker *inserts whistling smiley*

Hi Ladies. Am new to Executive Towers. Loving it so far but.....wondering why people keep parking in our spaces? I put up signs on the pillars beside the spaces to no avail. One person even ripped them down! It's in our contract that we have these two spaces on the ground floor but I haven't had a chance to park in them yet. I know I can drive around and eventually find a space but it's annoying when we were told we would have two allocated spaces for our 3 bed apartment. We are in Tower C. Any thoughts?

Hi ladies, There's a cut in water supply in Tower F today, since 12pm till now (2pm) and I am going nuts! anyone experiencing the same problem? Is there a number to call regarding this? It happened few times before previously but water came back just 5-10mins, but this round it is really killing me!

in my mind :D there is a big empower building that makes the cold air by chilling water, the air then travels through the pipes to us and when we have the a/c on we get lots of it blasting, but when we don't we still get 'fresh air' which is the same chilled air but a tiny percentage of it (it seems like it is this which is not happening today) - that's why we get charged a flat fee for empower even when no a/c consumption because we are still paying for the fresh air... is that how it works? :D I love how you said we pay for fresh air hehe

ok i see what you mean...that's weird you would think that if it is down in one tower it would be in all. and you would think if the chiller system is down how can the a/c be working *insert that chin tapping smiley* :D i think our whole tower's chiller is down because when we went out this morn the lifts seemed a bit hot/humid. but how can the a/c work surely it gets the cool air from the same chiller??! argh. huh?!

Hi EVERYONE :) Im a mom of a 15 months old girl, moving to ET. I really love the place, (even though I have no store room/storage only a washing machine gap and tiny closets)we will pay half of what we are paying for our 2br now, at least thats what I thought before I read your comments about empower :(... Still the podium level and the pool are really nice, by the, way do all the maids go with their clothes inside the water??? its not really inviting Anyways, we just got our keys to the apartment today, and when we went there to take measurement, I was wondering, where to place the dishwasher, as I could only see a tiny whole (not wider than a pen) where is the water pipe??? Same thing for the cooking hood... I am really confused:( From where did you buy the appliances? Im thankful for anyone who can help me, I planned to shift before first of July, if i sort out the kitchen problem....

Don't know if you all know about this or not but Noodle House have started to deliver now throughout Dubai and we got a delivery to the Villa door last night at ET. Food travelled beautifully and tasted just as delicious as when sat in the restaurant. Google it for an online menu. Ordered over the phone and it was very painless. Thought you might like to add it to the list of who delivers here :D

Wow...the Empower costs a lot! Have not agreed anything with Landlord yet or signed contract so hopefully might be able to agree on Landlord paying it....spoiled at the moment as we only pay DEWA in our current place. When we viewed ET, the agent said the Empower would only be around 200 dhs a month...should have seen that one coming!! ;)
