Hi ladies, Thanks for the replies. Went to medcare but no eye specialist there this evening and next available appointment was Sunday. They advised us to go to rashid where he saw an eye specialist within 1 1/2 hours. Thank you for your responses, it's only when these incidents happen that you think "where do I go!!"

From personal experience I would recomend Moorfields. First Class facility Dr Canning who runs it is amazing as are all the staff. From past expaerience it is essential that all eye injuries and ailments be seen to ASAP.Wherever you decide to go don't wait. All the best.

Unfortunately they are only open 8.30am -5.30pm Telephone (+971) 4 429 7888 Its probably worth going into Medcare or City hospital - eye care is really important.

Please can someone give us advice asap Tia I know someone whose retina detached, went to American Hospital who then rushed her to Moorefields, maybe try American Hospital or even try contacting Moorefields directly to see if they're open.

I believe they have ophthamologists in Medcare and City hospitals, but I've never tried using them in an emergency though.

Go into any hospital - where do you live?
