Our new helper arrived last week and is amazing. We have given him a laptop with broadband access in his room as the main WIFi signal is not strong enough to cover the maids and drivers rooms that he uses. Does anyone know how he can access filipino tv ? We have the usual
access for UK tv , would that be of use in downloading/viewing ? Alternatively we can buy him a tv
and subscribe to the filipino channels. Any ideas what your helpers do ? Thanks again

Hello! For online viewing if your helper wants to watch TV shows from ABS-CBN (network in the Philippines) he can access them at http://www.iwantv.com.ph/# Free registration even if the site is a bit confusing and says you need credits or be a SkyCable (PH-based) subscriber. There are two big networks in the Philippines - ABS-CBN and GMA. If you will subscribe to Filipino channels, Ask your helper which he prefers as there are usually two different options from OSN or etisalat, one has Filipino channel package with TFC (The Filipino Channel by ABS-CBN, ANC - their news network, Cinema One - screens Filipino movies 24/7 and i think another one) and another with GMA network + news channel. We used to have OSN, then switched over to Etisalat (TV+ Internet + phone package) and for the latter we chose TFC.
