Billy Blues at the Chelsea Hotel (Satwa roundabout) closing its doors at the end of the month, after almost 20 years in Dubai. Cactus Cantina at this location is closing as well (although you can visit them at their Wafi location).

Go get their ribs while you still can!

I'm devastated! I love their BBQ sauce and their ribs -- and there aren't a lot of other places where you can go out to dinner and get 4 drinks for 100 aed! They're selling every single thing off the walls if you want to stop in and get a momento and have your very own piece of Dubai history! :)

That is sad news. I went back there 3 weeks ago after an 8 year gap. It was exactly the same minus the monkey nut shells on the floor. Love the Billy Blues Magarita Pitcher. Shame I can't manage another night there before it shuts.

So many posts and no replies! I have many great memories of Rydges Plaza. I had my first margarita in Cactus 27 years ago. I have had ribs in Billy Blues more times than I can count. I love Coconut Grove and The Italian on the ground floor. We have had many a fun evening having a beverage in each of the venues. Cactus Cantina and Billy Blues, you will be missed!!!
