and if you don't have med insurance, this is a simple test that will be done in most clinics. Prime medical is reasonably priced and the results of this test are not complicated, so doesn't matter where you do, except you'll be sitting in the clinic for a while.
If the clinic you refer to are a weight loss clinic let me know - I know why they don't bother recommending GTT. You are right you do need a GTT.
I'm looking for somewhere I can go and have this done independently. Just did the glucose challenge test which, according to the clinic, came back slightly elevated. Now they want me to see their dietician and do home tests. All that I read recommends doing the GTT (3 hours) first. Any ideas?
