Annoys me too in the Springs/Meadows, some beautiful areas to walk the pooches, spoilt by irresponsible people who don't pick up. I always carry extra bags and hand them to people who leave the poop - they soon get the message. I'm fed up with lazy dog owners giving the rest of us a bad name. Oh and you could remind them that there is in fact a 500 Dhs fine for not picking up. <em>edited by Chocs01 on 23/11/2011</em>

"Excuse me, you dropped something!" works well- they usually turn around to see what they 'dropped' and then cannot pretend they haven't heard you! ;) Get a supply of those doggy poo bags so you can hand one and say, "oh you ran out? it's ok I have some" LOL

What is it with dog owners who think they are above themselves from picking up their dogs poo? This morning I passed a woman who didn't clean up after her dog, I've been kicking myself for not confronting her. I walk my daughter to school and lately the path/beside the path has lots of disgusting mess. I have another guy who walks his dog outside my apartment and the dogs pooped where the kids play and he didn't pick it up. Tips please on how I should confront future offenders welcome. I am tempted to take their photo and report them but would anyone listen? The Green Community is a great place for dogs but would you please clean up after them if you are guilty.
