I've just had a really bad haircut and am thinking of getting hair extensions to cover up the mess that I'm left with. Can anyone recommend a place that is reliable and reasonably cheap? I've never had them before and don't know a lot about it - is it true that they can damage your hair? Grateful for your advice.

Excellent news. I've heard of Salon Ink. Thanks very much for your help. This should hopefully mean that I don't have to hide in dark corners when I go out socialising!

As an added note not all salons charge the amount i put but i will only trust certain people to do my hair as i have seen so many bad hair extensions. There may be other salons who are good and charge less. :-)

Hello I got them from Salon Ink in Oud Metha. I am rubbish at anything to do with hair and i found these easy to put in. The girls there will show you how. I get mine washed and blow dried at a cheap salon near my work ready to put them in when i go out. The look on peoples faces when you take them in for a wash and blow dry haha. They are human hair too.

Thanks Sarahloudxb. Sounds like the clips could be the answer as my hair is also fine (and WAS medium length!) and there's no way I'm gonna pay that much for extensions. Where do you buy the Godess clips?

Hello I have had them done twice and they arent cheap at all.. anything from 5-7000AED for a full head I have very fine medium length hair and it always looks flat. I recently had them taken out and there was no damage to my hair whatsoever. I now use the Godess clip in ones as i only wear them on a night out. I can put them in myself and the colour matches my hair perfectly. They cost me 1390 for 6 pieces.. I did give the cab driver a fright last week when i started to take them out on the way home haha
