I found a miracle treatment. It's called 'Babyface' it's a pure protein treatment that you only mix with a moisturising conditioner, wash your hair in a clarifying shampoo, towel dry and then pop on the conditioner/protein mixture. put cling film round and then a towel and sit outside for 20 minutes. Rinse and then blow dry dry on hot heat and for best results use a flat iron, it seals in the protein inside the hair shaft and makes it go hard. I use the tiniest amount every 6 months as I dye my roots every month, it's awesome. They have a website.

The best natural hair treatment would be to use solely natural products. Instead of store bought shampoos and conditioners that may contain harmful chemicals, use mayo, eggs, honey and coconut oil for a deep conditioner. Instead of shampoo, rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar and cold distilled water. Also, maintaining a diet that is rich in protein, iron, vitamin A, C, and E, Omega 3’s, zinc, selenium and biotin is critical to keeping the hair healthy and in balance. It seems like you are already doing a great job-just keep these things in mind to enhance your already long and beautiful locks

Unique One is amazing. I get it at Essentials Hair and Beauty Salon on Al Wasl Road. It's only 100AED but its the only product I use now. Softens, protects, helps it grow, everything and it smells amazing. Oh I also got a hot scissors hair cut there which is brilliant, gets rid of all split ends. Takes twice the time but helps the hair grow back stronger etc My hair has never grown as quick!

Love Kerastase and Aveda products. It seems Aveda have finally opened in Dubai, I haven't tried their salon here but the one in London is great and I have read good reviews of the one in Dubai. http://www.luxurialifestyle.ae/the-best-hair-salon-in-dubai-aveda-dubai-flagship-salon/ I used to have very thick long hair and when I moved here, it started to fall out and became really dull. When I started taking Perfectil Platinum tablets, drinking fenugreek seed water and going for weekly hair oil massages, there was a significant difference. I also put a water filter on my shower. I had a colour done about three weeks ago at Aveda. Pretty good. You get a quick hand and back massage as well while you are waiting for your appointment. Also wanted to have my eyebrows tidied. What I didn't fancy was they tried to do two things at once. While I was having my hair washed, the girl was painting my eyebrows! So either one had to stop while the other carried on and so forth. I took one look and told her to start again. By the third time, I have had enough then. No more. At the counter, I was offered a free eyebrow tidy the next time I book. I kindly declined. Will go back for the hair colour and a cut though.

I'm TRYING to grow my hair after 15 years of having short hair, but finding it really difficult, my hair looks dull and I seem to get constant split ends. I've been using the Marrocan oil treatment for the past 3 months but don't see any improvement. Any shampoo/conditioner/treatment recommendations? I don't mind paying for the more expensive brands if it's been tried and tested ;) Some in house and some salon treatments which helped me to grow back healthy hair. 1. Warm Extra virgin coconut oil massage (you can buy it in organics and have seen in Lulu too) and steam. 2. Deep protein conditioning mask treatments and steam. 3. Biotin vitamins. 4. Drink lots of water. 5. At home you can try making a pack of eggs whipped with honey, apply to hair and wrap up it in alu foil or shower cap. 6. L'occitane shampoo and deep conditioning treatment (buy online). 7. Kerastasse shampoo, conditioner and serum have helped me great too (I buy from Strawberrynet, reading Sarahlou's posts... Thank you!) Hope this helps.

I find my hair grows quickly here however I only have it cut every 3 months and had extensions in for a year ( Very fine hair too) I don't think there is a miraculous tablets etc to make your hair grow really quickly. Moroccan oil wasn't great for my hair as it is fine, it just made it really really greasy. Thanks :) I was actually thinking of getting the kerastase serum when I'm back in UK, but maybe now I get the shampoo and conditioner as well. do you buy yours here in Dubai? I won't be back in UK until mid December and I'm really desperate to sort my hair out as asap. I use the Densifique which is for fine and switch between that and the bain satin, tbh there isn't much different in price versus the UK around 3-4 pounds difference I only wash my hair twice a week and don't use lashings of conditioner. I love Elvive for at home but it makes my hair so flyaway here. I still get new hair regrowth around my forehead :-)

I don't mind paying for the more expensive brands if it's been tried and tested ;) I've always had long hair, so I'm not sure my recommendations regarging growing the hair bach will be helpful, though I had a problem with dull hair and solved it. I started to avoid silicones in my haircare products as much as possible and my hair became shinier. Morocan oil products (and some of Kerastase products) contain silicone which makes the hair heavier, greasier and gradually drier. But if you use a cleansing shampoo at least 1 time in a three week period it can help to wash away the silicone buildup. Cleansing shampoos are available in professional haircare brans as well as "green, bad things-free" brands. I use Avalon organics, bought it from Life pharmacy. I tried to use sls and silicone free shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis to completely get rid of silicones in my haircare routine, but they don't work well for me, they tangle my hair and don't wash it well. Also I tried to use Kerastase products and it wasn't a good experience also. Though it might depend on the line you choose. So now I have the following routine: day 1 - cleansing shampoo and a hair mask, day 4 - sls and silicone free shampoo and conditioner, day 7 - Elvive shampoo and conditioner. My hair seems happy. And I see a lot of new small hair growing back after pregnancy and lactation. HTH
