Do a search for Indimus (EW user name) as she's actively involved with a charity in Sharjah who are grateful for any donations you can make and will redistribute to needy families in the UAE. I too just had a massive clear out and one of the volunteer will come to my place tomorrow afternoon for pick-up :)
Try takemyjunkuae.com . I think these guys will take most things, have a look at their site. I donated some things last week from an old outdoor dining table to a no longer used cricket set.
Arrange a day & time with them and they come and collect. No hassle at all. Whatever they cannot sell to low income families they will donate or recycle.
:-)
Thanks ADBQ, I kind of need the equivalents of Freecycle, charity shops and a skip......
OK, putting it another way....what do everyone do with their stuff from clear outs please?

I seen a unwanted clothes bin thing (no idea tech term lol) in the Marina Mall carpark yesterday, its on the lower level Waitrose entrance. if that is of any use ;)
Hi there. Having a prior to move clear out, got some stuff hoping to sell, some to give away to people I know, then other stuff which I don't want to bin, as I think it might be useful to someone somewhere, but don't know how to get rid of easily.....e.g. toys, cookery books, children's books & clothes, a mirror, a bubble machine I can't be bothered to work out if it is mendable...do I just leave it out somewhere and assume someone will take it away and do something with it? Surely I can't just bin the whole lot?!
TIA
