I need to get some helium balloons for a friend's birthday. Any ideas where I can get them without trekking miles from The Palm/Marina area and without spending a fortune!?

I used Party zone for my baby shower an they were good, and will deliver the balloons for about 50aed. ONLY be sure to buy weights for the balloons or have some on hand as they are not included!

Give kiducation a call. They do kids parties etc but also supply helium balloons. The folks are dead helpful. I ordered some for a party and they showed up, filled them up at my house and went. Fab service. K

I picked up a dozen at the Childrens play-place in Dubai Marina mall, same floor as the as the food court, right across from the movie theater. Sorry, I cant recall the name or the price for them. But, I do remember feeling relieved that I didnt have to drive all over Dubai asking and searching. If you go this route; park near an elevator entrance and just travel into the elevator and directly to your car from the exit. Or else.... you will have to travel through the mall with a bunch of balloons and field through all the children yelling, "Mommy, Daddy, I want one!" And desperate Parents asking to purchase them. Makes for awkward times ;0)
