My husband has just worked in Australia for a couple of months and paid 48% tax on his earnings.

The company said he should be able to claim the tax back, but how.

Does anyone know of a tax company who will help him?

Thanks

If you don't reside in Australia, you pay 40%+ tax on any earnings in Australia (e.g. rent, dividends, royalties, etc.). You don't pay any tax on what you earn in the country you are living in (e.g. salary). Otherwise, if you reside and work in Australia, you pay a progressive tax rate on everything you earn and there is a tax free threshold.

https://www.ato.gov.au/Individuals/International-tax-for-individuals/Going-overseas/When-you-leave-Australia/Lodging-your-tax-return-early/?anchor=P788_51528#P788_51528 He should be able to the whole thing online at the ato website. He will need to lodge a tax return and if that results in a 'refund' then it will simply be deposited to his account.
