Go to www.volunteerindubai.com and create an account. You can't just volunteer through the FB page. They regularly post openings for volunteers for different events but they have lots of subscribers but if you check it out regularly, you might be lucky to find an empty slot and subscribe, which will still be upon approval. Once approved, you'll receive event details. They monitor your attendance so if you're doing well, for your future subscriptions, you have more chance of getting approved. Although they are also very open in accepting newbies anytime. Reason why they have FB and why many find it useful is because that's where they get updates when events are posted, cos they don't send out an email. It is a fab thing to do if you've got the time and I met lots of friends there! :)

It depends what you want to do. Some events, such as the Dubai Film Festival have parts of their own websites where you can volunteer on line.

I see some great events happening in Dubai and wouldn't mind volunteering. Unfortunately I have no clue how to go about it or who to contact. Can anybody provide some advice?
