Can anyone advise on how things are normally done when you buy something on Dubizzle, for example large appliances and large furniture, and the seller agrees to hold onto the items for a week or so, until moving day when the removals team will pick them all up in the van. Does the buyer pay full cash and hope seller doesn't leave the country (call me a suspicious mind, but have heard of these tales on this forum!) or pay half as deposit, but what's to stop the seller re-selling the items to someone else? I'm a genuine buyer with cash and a definite moving date with removals team all geared up... But the seller won't know me from Adam! Help please...
