Huge Visa Issue - Having Medical Treatment in UK and Husband Changing Job - Maid?!!!

I am stuck in the UK unable to travel for medical reasons. My husband will be changing jobs in September, I do not yet know when I will be able to travel again. We have a maid and it is my understanding her visa cannot be reissued without my visa being reissued which means I need to be there which I can't be as I cannot travel.
Is there any way my husband can start his new job without us losing our maid? (who we desperately need as she looks after our dogs when I am not there and he is travelling on business (about 3 weeks out of every 4). TIA for any advice.
