Yes, we were just saying, imagine those poor tourists who wanted to get away from rain and snow of northern and central Europe for a couple of weeks after Christmas, and arrive to find *this* rubbish rain! It's the only good thing about my mother being so ill and unable to move, and unable to visit us for the New Year :(

The dog and I went for a lovely walk in the downpour. She didnt seem to mind at all, I certainly didnt...maids door open for the strays if they want to bunk in a dry place..food out, bed made, all animals at the window curled up. All we need is a fire going :) We of course, will be slogging in the new waterfront property the rain with cause tomorrow lol

It's really getting me down too:( . All I see at home is grey skies and rain and I detest it. Went home for the 'summer' (the gloom more like!) last year and ended up staying 4 months.......NOT to be repeated this year. Like Pepps, I didn't sign up for this.well you can un-sign ;)

We're loving the rain - the dogs aren't quite so taken but at least after 11 years, they've stopped barking at it! We're normally here all summer and only get out for a couple of weeks a year so the children have been making the most of the rain and dancing in the puddles :)

I'm depressed. Where's the sun? Enjoy this one week of interesting weather while it lasts. The constant sunshine for the other 51 weeks of the year gets monotonous, especially during the summer. I have to admit, the aim is to be out of here for the full summer heat, though whether we'll actually manage it is another matter!

Weeeelllllll, I am loving the rain, maybe I am the only one! The drizzle, actually it is raining pretty hard now, darkness and cool temps I have to say are all very welcomed in our house. It is a wonderful change for the day in day out "same same" weather that we usually have. My kids are having an absolute ball playing in the rain, soaking wet, laughing, yelling and basically enjoying a different "pace" of day to day living. Just wish we could see some ducks loving it too. :-) SH
