I was doing so well until DD broke up for the summer hols. Will be going home and staying with my parents so will have some time in the morning at least.."HOPEFULLY" when Ive return Ill be a new woman ..:\: Well am not doing too good here. :( Have to start all over when I come back *sigh* edited by Fr!zzyBusY on 08/08/2011 We will be on the August thread waiting for you :)

LOL hey whatever works to get us working out right?! It's so annoying that it's so much easier to gain the weight now and so much harder to get it off!!! Really need to work hard at it! Well level 2 day 3 done. The end of this level is SO hard, I have to swear my way through it ;)

You mean those 'bingo wings' :D Yup mine are flapping as I type right now :\: Well glad to hear from you anyway CT - I desperately need some 'company' to keep me motivated! Keep up the good work - don't feel bad about missing a few days as you have no choice - esp since you're normally so dedicated to working out!! Level 2 Day 2 done today - my thighs and shoulders feel like they've been beaten with a bat - lurvely!!

I have been in Jakarta on business this week and have done jack sh!t as it is not run friendly and the gym at the hotel was out of commission. I'll be doing Run 1 Week 7 tomorrow night when I get home but my nana arms (not a good look) are telling me I need to put effort into Shredding again. I am thinking of following: Day 1 RUN Day 2 SHRED Day 3 RUN Day 4 BIKRAM Day 5 SHRED Day 6 RUN Day 7 SHRED & BIKRAM I am blo0dy crazy but I keep thinking about my nana arms :\: <em>edited by Cyclone T on 28/07/2011</em>

Helloooo is anyone out there still shredding? Just got back from my holiday in Thailand and the pictures of me in a bikini were enough to motivate me to start shredding yet AGAIN! However I just couldn't start on Level 1 again so Level 2 day 1 done today. Are there enough shred heads out there for us to start a July (soon to be August!!) shred thread?? CT - how are you doing? Still shredding and doing the C25K and bikram??

How do you find 20 minutes, I'm trying so hard but by the time I finish work, baby, dogs...it's 9:30pm and almost time for bed :(

Finally did level 1 day 10 yesterday. There really is no excuse to not find 20 minutes in the day to exercise but I am finding myself in the same position!!! REALLY must do this everyday!! CT - will be good to have you back although I will be back in Nairobi in August and not sure I'll manage to do it there at all :(

I'm going to start in one week. I'll continue until we leave for holiday so it won't be the full 30 days, but since I do no excercise EVER, I'm hoping to see a little improvement. I did it one day last week - I was sore, but it wasn't unmanageable, I just found it hard to put aside even 20 minutes. I'm rereading this and finding it amazing that I cannot devote 20 minutes to me and my fitness everyday, but...

Finally started yesterday...Level 1 day 1 and thought it was tough, feeling a bit heavy today. Even though I don't feel motivated, I have to be and make it the 29 day shred as I'm off on leave then. Just hoping that my body will change slightly in 29 days. please please please ;) edited by Cleopatra on 29/06/2011 If you do the Shred EVERY day for 30 days you will see a difference. I did :)

It's just a bit over 20 minutes and when you have finished you will feel less blah. But if you really can't get your behind up and shredding then just do it tomorrow with extra enthusiasm.

Level 2 day 3. Feeling good and if I am not halucinating I can see the faintest hint of stomach muscles, a sight unseen in 5 years. But does anybody else get bored with the DVD as well? Don't get me wrong, it is not the exercises that are boring (far from it) but to hear the same instructions and jokes over and over again.... One of the reasons I was so happy to be done with level one. I wish there were a DVD where they didn't chitter chatter....It is not only that DVD but all work out DVDs I came accross, that I have the same problem with. Mute it and put on some music, esp if you already got the hang of the routine/moves! I'm so over this c-sec that I cant wait for time to fly so I can get back to shredding! Enjoy :D

got bored of just doing level 1, tried level 2 today. I'm going to need to find a new shredding set up, having been doing on a rug rather than leaping about on such solid floors - but level 2 is far too active, the rug was skating about with me on it! definitely need some lighter weights for the v raises...... Frizzy, I think the idea of the 30 days is it is a bit of a kick start - do the 30 days to get you going - and that isn't really long enough for the repetitive nature to be a problem - but if you don't want to use it that way, it seems to me to be a good 20 minute work out; I haven't done every day, and still doing the odd session at the gym instead.

More questions for you ladies. Ive started doing the shred last week. Ive only managed to do Level 1, twice; 1 last week and 1 this week, in between Ive been mixing other workouts ..will that work or do I HAVE to do the 30 day shred religiously. I get bored with repetitive workouts and I heard doing the same workouts is not so good as your body gets too use to it which I have done in the past and got bored, had DD and 3 yrs later piled on so much weight and Ive only now decided to take it seriously. Your advices is very much appreciated. Thanks.
