After far too many days of not getting a chance to shred, finally managed to get it done today - so Level 1 Day 7 done. At this rate, I should finish the 30 days by the end of the year :\:

I'm starting again, I've been slacking off for far too long and I need, need, need to shift a few kilos and firm up. So today, day 1, level 1 - all good actually :)

Morning all Just quick question I just downloaded the 30 day shred last night. Just quickly went through the levels and am thinking no way am I ever going to get to level 2 LOL. So how long after did you ladies move onto level 2 and so on. I think Ill be sticking to Level 1 for a good 3-6 months and not even that maybe a yr! :\: Thanks.. basically went up a level after 10 days. I haven't gotten to level 3 yet given I was injured for a bit and then got so bored of training inside i've gone back to a personal trainer and now interchange between levels 1-2. Just be careful ladies mostly with levels 2 & 3 though especially after having had a baby. Make sure your stomach muscles have come back together otherwise you may need to moderate some of the sit up exercises to lower impact. As well as making sure you really suck that belly in tight on planks and bridges etc to get good core strength. Thanks AussiePup. This morning completed Level 1 Day 1..phew!

Finally I should now be medically fit enough to start with some tough exercising. Before I make the start on the shred-it program, is there any equipment I need? Don't want to press play and find out that I can't do half of it. I am set to start this Sunday and it's all penciled in my diary. I hope I will be able to see a difference within the 30 days as this will be when I'm off on holiday. Shall keep you all posted on the progress. edited by Cleopatra on 15/06/2011

Level 1 Day 6 done - I still hate the cardio set with jumping jacks and jump rope :( Either one combined with something else seem to be okay, but together, my shins start screaming!!! Hey Sunsa - yup I remember we were due around the same time! DD was born 12 Nov and is doing great! She has quite the personality and has us all smiling all the time (except sometimes at 5am when she wants to talk and play :\: ) I started shredding a couple of months ago, but only made it to about day 23 or 24 and then had visitors in town, then traveled and never got back in until a week ago. I was lucky and lost a lot of my weight in the first 3 weeks after delivery without even trying but then hadn't lost a single kilo in the past several months after that, despite starting pilates about 7 weeks after delivery. Am still bf and am eating like a hog so I do know what the problem is, and pilates was fantastic for getting some muscle tone back in my stomach etc but I felt like I needed something stronger to get the weight off. I LOVE the shred even though I dread doing it everyday - but it's only 20 minutes so you can grit your teeth and do it!!! All the best!

well I got all three levels downloaded from itunes. Have any of you been able to burn it to a dvd ? or how do you play it on your tv? Feeling motivated and hoping to lose this water/almost year old baby/munchies weight. I downloaded it and burnt it on a DVD. Working great.

Hey Ladies today is the second day of my first time ever. Frankly, I got motivated by reading all these shredding threads and also got a rude awakening a few days back. My LO is 7 months old and I have not lost a single KG after the delivery. Isn't that really really bad! But I had a totally sedentary lifestyle in the past 7 months, the longest workout that I do is the walk from the car to the school building for drop offs and pickups! Anyways, day 2 was even more difficult cos of the soreness. And I am not using weights for the while. Please tell me when can I expect the soreness to go away. Right now its so so difficult to get up from a chair and climbing up and down the stairs.... but loving it!

Well done AussiePup - very impressed! CT - fantastic - I'm so jealous that you're at the end of the 30 days...again! I took a day off yesterday as my shoulders were just too sore, but have done Level 1 Day 5 today.

well ladies I hate to say it but I got SOOOOOOO bored of being inside training with just Jillian on the TV... I needed more!!!! so... I said "sod it" to the cost and have gone back to a personal trainer 1:1 once a week, plus 2 small group classes twice a week and walking / jogging around the block each morning plus a bit of skipping... on Thursday, Friday Saturday I don't have any training so on those days I have a date with the DVD and Jillian. I drop DS at a friends place for a play date whilst I go to training and it works out brilliantly (and yes I do return the favour of sitting her DS at other times) he he he. So far in 1.5weeks I've lost 2.5kgs... I think my body really needed "more", mentally and physically plus I really needed more focus on regaining my core strength which is what my 1:1 sessions are doing. Feelin good!! :D

are u guys able to tone down with this dvd? and how long does it take? It takes 30 minutes including moving the coffee table and pressing play :) What do you mean by tone down? If you mean cool down there is a stretching section at the end of each workout. If you mean tone up it certainly dones that if you do the full 30 days properly. HTH
