Hello Ladies,

Wondered if anyone had any idea of a good karaoke venue in dubai?
Got a few girlie friends over from UK later in year and we love a good old karaoke session.

TIA ladies

found a great new place with private karaoke rooms! Check out the Byblos in Tecom - they have a Korean restaurant where they do the above!

LOL maybe it hasn't been 'found' yet because you don't normally associate Italian with karaoke. Might be worth checking out though.

magiccarpet; Ciro's is no longer Ciros...its now called Opera..im not sure if they still have the same program and menu .. i am part of the cuban salsa scene there, and we use that place often, but last time i went it was pretty much the same, but just double check for Karaoke nights

Okay - I am going to announce a great karaoke place in Dubai which for some reason has not been 'found' yet. Place is Ciro's Pomodoros at the Le Meridien Mina Siyahi Hotel. Its an italian restaurant. Pizza is Yummmmy! they have projections of whatever sport is going on (usually football) but most important - Sundays and Tuesdays are kareoky nights.

There's also a great place called Kisaku. Its at the Khaleej Palace on Makhtoum Street. Not the best location, but its a very very authentic japanese restaurant, and you can rent a private room and sing away to your hearts content. The food is fantastic, and the most authentic Japanese food here. A friend of mine, who happens to be Japanese, and works for National Traveler, had gone around through quite a few places, and said hands down its got the most authentic japanese food/feel in the area.

Harry Ghattos in Emirates Towers is a good one. Small, but a Japanese karaoke bar which is a lot of fun. Also Hibiki in the Hyatt Regency. Rock Bottom do karaoke on Friday nights as do other various bars throughout the week.
