I am trying to decide whether to take visitors on a dhow from Khasab or dibba.
Does anyone know how long the drive is to both places - I know Khasab is further.
We want to do an overnight on a dhow - has anyone done this and can recommend a company & where to go from?

My only info for you is that I drove to Dibba 2 weekends ago in 1.5 hours. But I live on Dubai Bypass so had a little headstart :-)

Think I read that it's not guaranteed to see the dolphins at Dibba, whereas in Khasab you are almost always guaranteed to see them (we saw them and several friends who have been saw them too). I think it took us 2 hrs 40 mins to get there from close to Wafi, but the border crossing was very quick - can be packed there...try www.khasabtours.com for the dhow cruises - we only did a half day one with them, but we enjoyed it....
