Hi, I signed a one-year contract for a job in Dubai and gave up my whole life to be relocated, only to be fired after only 2 full days of work and sent home to nothing, with nothing. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer to help me with this. I was treated terribly. Thank you.

Have you checked your contract and what it says regarding your probationary period? Mine and most in Dubai advise you can be let go without any notice within this time just as you can resign

It depends if it is limited contract or not or if your visa paperwork was already processed or not? As for lawyers I would recomed Al Tamimi company Samir Kantaria Partner, Head of Employment [email protected] Rebecca Ford Partner [email protected] Good luck

OP, also try Saba & Co. I know that a lawyer there, Rami Abdullah, handled labor law matters. If the company you were working for does business in any other jurisdictions, it might be worth talking to labor law attorneys in those jurisdictions, especially if it's a western jurisdiction. Just a thought. I'm so sorry for the situation you've found yourself in. That is really awful to have left all that you had to come here and then be faced with what you've briefly described. Hopefully you can find a legal loophole or something.
