After our vacation back in Blighty since the end of June I can honestly say I'm looking forward to returning to Dubai, I'm really surprised at myself that I feel like this but it just goes to show how given time you really do settle in and actually miss the place when not there.

I know exactly what you mean Kimball65, first time we went back 3 years ago (wehave been here 4years) I felt like I really missed the UK, but just back last week from the UK and once I had seen my family and friends and done my shopping! I was ready to come home to Dubai. Dont think we will even go next year for our main holiday its just not a holiday is it? If you are happy and settled here then you will of course miss it, its a long holiday from June but at least you are escaping some of the heat and Ramadans restrictions!
